I’m not a religious person if being religious means doing religion ritual at a daily basis, but I’m a religious person if being religious means having a strong faith in God.
And long time ago I refuse to say prayer to my friends, I just simply dont belive in “Pray for Japan” or any other pray for others because I simply believe that it doesn’t change a thing until someone decided to act. After all we are all God’s hand aren’t we? or maybe you have seen a huge hand appearing from the sky helping victims of an avalanche? Well, Haleluya if you do.
But then today, in my 23rd birthday I got a new perspective to prayer, somehow now I understand the deep meaning of believing in a prayer, ultimately somebody’s prayer for you.
A prayer is someone’s belief in you, a wish for a better condition or “buff” as I know it in game. and a prayer only works if the recipient believe in it, and believing or not is just a matter of chioce.
And this new perspective is formed by the decision to believe in a prayer that was given by a bestfriend of mine, so beautiful that I refuse to forget this and note it down to be the anchor of my life, or at least until she give a new prayer next year.
The anchor that keep me strong, that wont let me astray, and keep me sane knowing that somebody out there believe in me, what i believe and wish me a better condition, a better life.
And if you think the wish is warm and fuzzy, you think wrong. It even contain a parental-advisory language in it.
